my biography

Toronto violinist Alex Cheung left his engineering job in 2003 to become a fulltime musician and music teacher. Judging from the picture, he's pretty happy so far! Alex teaches violin and fiddle styles, theory and arrangement. He plays in a few interesting bands, such as the Parkdale Revolutionary Orchestra - an art rock group consisting of operatic soprano, violin, cello, soprano sax, drums and bass; an acoustic 80's band called the McFlies, a 7-piece band that incorporates ukuleles, accordions, melodicas, banjo, hand percussion, guitar and violin into their 80's repertoire; and a fun, high-energy Celtic group fittingly named Up All Night. Alex has written some intrumental music in the past, the song Violin Man was co-written with singer/songwriter Paul Manchin in 2007 and co-produced by Alex and Andrew Seok.

Compared with you I must be an amateur, but nevertheless I would like to ask you to listen to my songs and hopefully you'll think them worthy of any vote.
Greetings and success from the lowlands of Holland,

Oh brother - this is a very smooth track.
The musical idea and performance is top notch, and really helped by very elegant and really well balanced production.
Really good example of blending musical styles without it seeming like a gimmick. Excellent work, and thanks for sharing.
