my biography

Die Presse beschreibt WAVE IN HEAD als harmonisch, ansteckend, "very electric" und z.T. experimentell. WAVE IN HEAD wurde 1993 als ein Mann Projekt gegründet. Die Einflüsse kommen aus der Elektronik der 80er Jahre. In 1999 war das Projekt soweit entwickelt, dass die erste EP in Eigenregie erstellt und über´s Netz vertrieben wurde. Die "rarely" - EP wurde von der Fachpresse positiv bis euphorisch aufgenommen. Die in 2000 fertiggestellte Nachfolge - CD "Criminal Ballad" kam jedoch nicht an die Öffentlichkeit, da sie als Promotion - Vehikel konzipiert war. Nach einigen Samplerbeiträgen folgten Ende 2000 gleich mehrere Angebote von diversen Plattenfirmen. Anfang 2001 unterschrieb WAVE IN HEAD bei A Different Drum, Amerika´s grösstem Synthpop Label und gab dort mit dem Album "Time to speak", sowie den beiden Singles: "Progress" und "I began to hope" sein Debüt. Mit "with you" erschien die 3. Single, die auf den Longplayer "You" neugierig machen sollte. Mit "I hate to be in love" folgte die Vorab-Single für das neue Album "for a special moment".
Neben den eigenen Produktionen ist WAVE IN HEAD als Remixer tätig. Diverse Kollaborationen mit internationalen Bands und Projekten, sorgen für eine ständige Entwicklung des Projektes.
Live zu erleben ist WAVE IN HEAD seit 2000 mit Unterstützung befreundeter Musiker in Deutschland (gern auf Anfrage) und den USA.
WAVE IN HEAD wird oft als Vorzeigeband und Referenz im Synthpop Sektor genannt und kann auf zahlreiche begeisterte Pressemeinungen verweisen, hat in Deutschland jedoch immer noch den Status des Geheimtipp.

Hi, how are you? Came by to listen and vote. I like 'On the Corner' very much. It's a strong piece of music. 'With You' is much to freaky to my system (I'm not a dancer). 'I Hate to be in Love' sounds better. So, two songs get my votes.
My songs are of a different kind, but hopefully you'll like them and think them worthy of any vote.

Yeah, so here´s my new profile at MI7. I´m not sure if the native language here is English or if I can post in German. However - if there´s someone out there using Pro Tools on Mac (may be in Germany) and is willing to help me opening a session for a remix I have to do on Cubase on Windodws some day - plaese give me a sign. Thanks a lot in advance !
