my biography

i spend a lot of time listening to Black metal and Death metal, so it surprises me that i write music as mellow as i do.

i think humor and obscurity are important elements of musicality

all the best music is fueled by emotion - be it anger shame love/hate... thats why *most* pop music is so shite, there is no feeling, just calculated sounds with projected sales targets. there is no such genre as "pop" pop is just music from all walks of life, watered down for the masses, strong music is either loved by people or hated, so it has to weakened for general consumption.

I'm a pretty handy Flutist, Saxophonist and Bassist. I get pretty frustrated having no practical musical outlet, i recently found a vent in the form of Reason, and have been devoting free time to achieving music of a reasonable standard.

Description: Collaborated with Bez.T. (if he dosen't mind me posting it) has a kind of slow uk garage vibe to it, but lots of subtle undertones, moodswings and some humour. -i quite like it

**Hawkwind** -mostly Death/Black Metal, but i also listen to a lot of jazz and blues (particularly the BeBop movement) and drum and bass. -anything with power and passion.

Hi Luke, My son is called Lucas ( in spnish ), Yes the track is in memory of Jaco Pastorius. I used a Bass Ibanez and a Freetless Jazz Bazz and some analog fx (Bass-drive/ octabass, comp and wha-wha EBS, and phaser mrx orange colour and rehearsal, much rehearsal. Walter

Hi Luke, how are you? Came by to listen. Two of your pieces appeal to me most: 'The Electric Piano Is Dead' (far from that, it's a wonderful hommage to the piano I would say) and 'Roger Dew' (interesting mixture).

Thanks for the PHAT nod, braa. I love but munching and piano (I got some great ideas & inspiration while listening to them), haven't heard roger yet but I'm definitely gonna check it out.
You know, sometimes it's hard to find the right words (that don't feel forced) but in this case it came naturally - your music is COOL!!!

Hey thanks Luke, had to come over an take a listen didnt I. Interesting stuff you have over here. But munchin bog monsters must win some award for the title alone :)
Roger Dew has the begins of a nice track, should finish that one, the end part you have so far is good.
You have a nice sound, dont know much about Reason but know a few people that use it, it seems to be very flexible and allows you to be really creative, so good luck to you.
Keep cooking in both fields;)
