my biography

Hi. I'm Steve Cowan. I've been a musician on and off since 1991. However, it's only since 2005 that I've started taking it seriously. Since then I have released a number of e.p.s and albums (mostly on-line only) in a variety of styles (Electronica, Ambient, Death Metal, Doom etc). 2008 is already shaping up to be a busy year with 5 releases planned.

my sounds

Title: Cold Evening
Photo-0011
Description: One of the first ambient tracks I created. Now, maybe, a little hackneyed. However, it took my writing to a new place.
Title: Desert Plains Part III
The_kobo_sessions__front
Description: Final song of the trilogy 'The Kobo Sessions'. There will be 3 more singles from 'The Naira Project', after which it will be disbanded.
Title: Those Who Left
Allwholeft
Description: (Almost) Blackened Thrash track from my 'A Blackened Soul' project. This is where I am at my most comfortable when writing.
Title: Dust Trails From A Burning Ember
Lifeendshere-frontcover1200sq
Description: A doomy ballad from the 'drowned:above:water' project. I may record another doom album of this type.
Title: That Man
Tales_from_five_mile_lane__front
Description: 1st track from the 4th munnkie album 'Tales From Five Mile Lane'. This is my electronica project, that seems to be morphing into an electronica/acoustic affair. A new album 'Woodland Folklore' is due in March 2008. A follow-up album 'Circa 1974' should be released later in the year.
