my biography

I was born in 1984, in Budapest (Hungary). I spent the rest of my previous life in the 22nd district of the city. First I attended a school for bakers, than I took some courses on computer science. At the age of 16, I decided to start a new life. Unfortunately, I got from one failure to another over and over again. I started composing in 2003, and with it, I’ve found a new lifetime goal. Many things happened since then. This year, in 2008, I could finally start working seriously. I follow my idols, I’ve chosen the best ones, and I hope I will be able to be a worthy descendant of them when I will reach my goal. I am here by now, greeting them respectfully

Thanks a lot for your comment Zsolt. To be honest I have neither listened to the soundtrack "Gladiator" nor I have seen the film yet. So, I think it's time to do it now. I encourage you to create movie soundtracks. I really like the atmospheres you create with your music. Greetings from Menorca! Guiem

Dear David,
Thanks for the nice words and your advice. My aim is to compose movie soundtracks in the future. My idol is Klaus Badelt.
Yours, Zsolt

Hi Zsolt. Reminds me of Van Gellis but also nicely recorded and layered. Themes build well. You could maybe get TV / Film score work
with your music also. It's well put together.
Good use of incidental FX also add to the atmospheric effect. Only advice would be don't overquantize the drums..if you allow a bit of volume/timing variance it gives a more natural feel. Nice job. David

Hi Zsolt,

welcome to MI7! Nice tracks you've got. Smooth blend of pop/rock and a "Main Theme" from a filmscore. It makes a good listening, I like it.

Regards,
Simon
