my biography

A young man fascinated with music...
He started musical creation with "ROCK" bands at early age.
In 1999 he answered a journal announcement asking for a singer. The band created at the time was named "FILTHY WAY".
With the "FILTHY WAY" he enters several contests. They won the second position in "TERMOMETRO UNPLUGGED 1999" and the first place at "DESLIGAIA 2000". They played in many bars around Porto city including the "HARD CLUB", "INDÚSTRIA" and the main hall from Porto named "COLISEU".
After one year the band has finished and Diogo Manso (Mansolini) enters the "MUSICAL PRODUCTION AND TECHNOLOGY" course at the "HIGH SCHOOL OF MUSIC AND SHOW ARTS" in Porto city.
Since the first year he enters high school that he starts working has sound technician on several rental companies.
In 2003 he enters national television has sound engineer and he finishes his course in 2004.
During 2005/2006 Diogo M. has singing and electric guitar classes at Porto Jazz School.
In 2006 Diogo M. participates in a recording workshop with Frank Rodriguez e Tom Kikta at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh PA, United States. At the same school he also entered the electric guitar workshop with Bill Purse, Joe Negri, Mark Koch, Ken Karsh, Jeff Mangone, Tom Kikta, Tim Bedner, Laurence Juber, Henry Johnson, Jimmy Bruno, Adrian Galysh, David Weiner, Wolf Marshall, Robert Godin among others.

Estive a ouvir as músicas que disponibilizas na tua página e gostei muito das sonoridades e ambientes criados...são trabalhos para bandas sonoras?

Both "1Anjo" and "1Quarto" projects were actually made for a video on DVD and they have a 5.0 mixing with the "synth noises" surrounding the melody in a more expansive way rather than these stereo mixes.

Thanks for adding me. I love the way you mix melody with noise especially in "Anjo", don`t think I heard anything quite like it before. It`s given me lots of new ideas.
