my biography

I started as a guitarplayer, did some touring and then worked within the music industry with sales and marketing, lost my track and thanks to old shamanic practises I found life again, now enjoying the composing-recording process. I recently completed some musical ideas that has been in my head and in the drawer unfinished. So now they are on a CD.

So to keep the balance - I help people to find what their souls long for, and the rest of my time I am composing and playing - just enjoying all of it :-)

I use Cubase SX3 and Reason 4,PreSonus Firepod with Mackie HR624 monitors. Main guitars are Schecter strat, Gibson Les Paul DC, Ovation acoustic and an Ibanez Musician fretless bass.
When recording I usually plug into a DigiTech GNX1.

I am addicted to delays, I just love the way it gives wings to a guitar or a voice, so I have to remind myself not to use it too much :-)

There are so many new musical ideas in my head right now, but the main idea is to put a band together again and perform live. So please let me know if you are interested in forming a band. Wherever you are.

Mixed and Mastered within the hour. It turned out at bit more weird than intended, looking forward to hear your feedback on this one.

my influences

Well, there´s Jeff Beck, and then there is...Jeff Beck and after him...I don´t really know who could possibly be there a hundred miles behind? But there is the amazing norwegian saxplayer Jan Garbarek of course. You know what I mean, there are so many good musicians out there, too many to mention. As a guitar player I must mention Tommy Emmanuel, who has this spiritual touch that brings out his musicality so beautifully...

Hi PaerW, I really like your style of playing guitar - and I know what you mean mentioning Jeff Beck. He is absolutely THE ONE though there are, of course, a lot more people/musicians to mention. Visit our band site www.lunaparkmusic.de
Keep going! I definitvely would like to play in your band - if it's not Stockholm ;-) King greetings from Germany and all the best for 2008! Lunadet

Yes Paer I know what you mean I am also doing this on some of the songs of my band Flaming Bess. It give such a nice and exotic voicing.

Hi Mindmovie!

Yes, you are absolutely right. I was looking for a kind of a conversation so if I rememeber correctly, I wanted the two guitar parts to have different voicings, so I tried to think and play "backwards" on one of them, recorded and then reversed it.

Love your guitar sound Paer !! Did you reverse some of the solo stuff or did you play it this way ?
