I was born in a little town called "Nieuw-Lekkerland", in the Netherlands, behind the dikes of the river "De Lek", and a view on the outdated windmill-system of "Kinderdijk", supposed te keep the polder dry at earlier ages. It is now meant as a tourist attraction. It did its duty, and is now replaced by a gigantic turbinesystem near the dike. Maybe this will serve as a tourist atraction for the days coming. You never know.
I started my life with weak lungs, and the largest amount of my primary school days, i was ill at home, and teached by my mother how to read and write.
From the age of twenty i studied at the HTS, to become an engineer. The first attempt, to become a chemical engineer failed, and i started over to become an informations engineer. This time i succeeded. I entered some minor jobs, during my study at a High-Tech business, and later on i developed a system to manage medical equipment in a hospital. But my main interest has alwyas be music.
My grandfather owned a "Harmonium", and he teached me some.("As long as you cannot take an octave at once, you cannot be a good keyboard player."). Later on, at the age of 17, i turned to guitar, mainly because it was the only instrument i could afford. I could pay it myself, with some money i earned with a holiday job. Me myself, i liked to play piano, but my parents were not able to buy one, and pay the lessons. During my study, i was able to take guitar lessons, and for some years i did. But not before i tried to see for myself how far i could get it on my own. That's cheaper you know. And with some help of friends, i was able to learn some.
During my job at the hospital, i earned some money, and i was able to setup a simple synthesizer studio, also because the prices of synthesizers and related equipment dropped significantly at those days.
I teached myself some composing, which was initiated by some lessons composing of my guitar-teacher.
And now, with the evolution (or is it a revolution?) of the internet-communities, you can listen to my music all over the world. And maybe soon, on the moon too.

Most of the time I listen to rock music (The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen). In my own music, I tried to figure out, if it is possible to make 'instrumental'-rock, wathever it may be, and with the use of as much technical as possible. So, no guitars, and with all the synthesizers I could get, and only with the use of sequencers, and, if possible and applicable, with the use of samples. Listen to the result, and judge by yourself.
