my biography
My name is Mané. I'm a Singer/Songwriter/Musician from Portugal.
I was born in Macau, South-China in 1976. I started playing the piano when i was 8 years old. Moved to the Drums when i was 11 and the Guitar when i was 14. I just started recently on the Violin.
Short after arriving in Portugal in 1996, i joined a garage band called KARMA and toured the country playing cover songs.
In 1999, i reached the finals of the television music show "Star Search" singing the song "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls.
In 2002, won the television reality show "Star Academy". I also graduated from "OficinActores" acting school.
In 2003, I sang the song "Hero" in a duet with Mariah Carey at the European Finals of "Star Academy" held in Cannes, France and I released my 1st. Album called "Longe"("Far"). I also made several apperances as an actor in some TV shows.
Currently working on my 2nd Album.
