my biography

Music producer, remixer and, perhaps most of all, sound designer at cut&paste. Engineer at the Southern Collective studio.

Work together with Spirou here on the forum in our mindxpander project, all kinds of remixes, and also a bit with Ypsilon 5.

Apart from that, I do some remixing on my own as well, and have my solo project, Gearsluts International, although the number of finished songs is pretty low (actually, well, kind of, ehm, two... =) ), since I find it more interesting to play around in the studio and create all kinds of wierd noises than to actually assemble them into complete songs... =)

Description: Well, a rather silly, and pretty annoying song. But it only gets really annoying if you try to play along, if you play it twice right after each other, or if you jump around in it.

Description: This is pretty much a concept song, a little idea I had that turned out to be pretty nice... =) The song is made using only white noise as audio source, no samples, no other waveforms, just noise, filters, and effects. (apart of course from the voice sample in the beginning, I'm not that good... =) )

Hi Rydan,

annoying and catch often go hand in hand, and you did a great job on that...I didn't follow your advise to play it twice though, or it would remain in my head all day... ;-)

I really liked the Noize track. Great work with sounds!

Hey! Thanks man. The annoying song is quite fun as the only thing that can get annoying are the vocals ;) Great work on the Noize track, I guess it took a while to complete. I'm more of a lazy preset kind of guy.

thanks for your kind comments on my profile! Glad you like the amt project. If you are into remixing, you definitely need to check out ccMixter.org; I've recently bumped into it (and blogged about it on my emxr blog) and put FLAC versions of our remix packs over there. Your sound designs might be a hit with remixers over there, too.
