Hi DTLW, Really tight rock-n-roll. Man I wish I could get your knowledge of mixing put into a pill form so I could get the sound all you guys get. I'm new at this stuff. Sweet sounds. Loved that acoustic guitar stereo at the end of Shatterpoint. That was real neat. Do you have any acoustic guitar music like that? Meno-JAG
well it's true, your picture is not bad at all ... What im trying to do is to rework the songs i have. i feel like some are missing something... take care and thanks for the comment
thanks for your compliments Fella ! Yes I love this kind of positive energy rock & roll - it will always be one side of me. Take Care and don't stop the music
thanks for the comment DT.... think my favourite of yours, on one listen, is "wasting". though that usually changes after a few listens."feel it" is also magic. which is the song with the one real instrument? they all sound real to me haha. take care.
Second Shot is sorted as far as I am concerned thanks to you. Have to play it again with the guys to make sure they agree!
Playing the sax parts on the guitar works well, interchanging with the main riff in the instrumental breaks. Gotta get that through the vote as well....
Thanks for your comment. You are right about my music being pure. Over the years i've kind of realized, that often less is more - if you know what i mean. When i was younger i played very complicated musik, but now - mabye it my age - i think it often becomes messy and "kill" the lyric.
ha! The girls I'm with in my profile picture were at the Schecter display. There were so many guys around that display just standing with a dumbfounded look on their face. Good times!
And yes... the wall of amps and then meeting Jim - wow. Priceless.
NAMM was great this year! MI7 has some good things planned.
