my sounds

Title: trazos
Pablo05
Description: TRAZOS (Traces) For guitar and electronic media. To Pablo Gomez In this piece the electronic media part works as a ghost-like of the live guitar. It was created recording specific sounds or gestures from the instrument to transform them later through different electronic processes to intensify and enlarge its sound. A particular interest to consider different techniques to play the instrument was necesary to explore rhythm and to obtain unusual sonorities to create gestures, traces that define the image piece. Daniel Hidalgo: live guitar recording
Title: sublingual
Clarinetemarta
Description: SUBLINGUAL By Alejandra Hernández México 2006 For voice, bass clarinet and electronic media (Tape alone) In this piece, the poem Sublingual by the Mexican poet Rocío Cerón, is the departure point to developed a sound manipulation process through electronic media. Besides of articulated sounds generators of ideas (words that mean something specific), These are used as pure sonic and non-articulated sound objects to create a game between their significance and their musicality. The bass clarinet has a coloristic effect. It is a line that acquires different texture transformations trough the performance giving weight, sense, and form to the piece. Sublingual is part of Personae, a CD produced in 2006 by Instrumenta Oaxaca, Motín Poeta and Revista DF. Personae is a collaboration and experimental work between contemporary Mexican poets and composers. Voice, Rocío Cerón Bass clarinet, Fernando Domínguez Clarinet recording and mixing, Miguel Hernández.
Title: Tryptich, Pies, para que los quiero #2
_estudio_2a
Description: PIES PARA QUE LOS QUIERO for live percussion and electronic media #2 to Diego Espinosa This piece is part of a Triptych inspired on a genre of Mexican music call "Son Jarocho". The three pieces are based on the rhythms of a type of mexican dance call zapateado,. The dance is also an instrumental interpretation, as it is performed on a wooden platform which is used as a percussion instrument. Because of their richness in rhythm, color and melody, the interest of #2 consists in manipulating not only the sonority of the tapping but also of the voice and the other percussion (tambourine, donkey jaw) and string instruments (requinto -lead guitar-, jarana -comping-, leona -bass guitar-) that are used in Son Jarocho,. There is an exploration of different combinations of sounds ( the performer utilizes traditional and non traditional instruments) to generate textures and rhythmic counterpoints through the electronic media and live percussion. The relation among them attempts to create sonorities different to the conventional, without losing the auditory reference to the original roots. At one point, based on certain rhythmic preestablished motives, the percussionist develops his capacity through improvisation . This is another element that plays an important role for the performer in the Son Jarocho’s interpretation. This piece was composed at the Banff Centre for the Arts, Alberta, Canada and Mexico City thanks to an agreement between this Centre and the National Mexican Foundation for the Culture and Arts (FONCA) in 2000. Pablo Flores pre-recording Tacho Utrera pre-recording string traditional instruments Andres Flores pre-recording traditional percussion and voice. Daniel Hidalgo: live percussion recording.

Hi Alejandra, how are you? Thanks for your Mi7 friendship. Came by to listen and vote. You make wonderful atmospheric, professional music. A great pleasure to listen to (3x10 points!).
I hope you'll find some time to listen to my (simple, but serious) songs and that you'll vote for me too…
Greetings and success from the wet grounds of the Netherlands,
Richard

hoi alejandra;

I was at sea this weekend and all the noises you hear there ( birds, wind, waves, murmuring of people, churchbells, machines, etc) are there in your music. Magnificent;
