my biography
Claas Reimer is active as DJ and Producer more than 12 years. All started with enthusiasm for Acid, Techno and Trance, a borrowed Amiga 500 and some tracker programs. This setup was quickly swapped to an Atari and some synthesizers. Later on projects like Amphasis (together with Jürgen Driessen), Reagenzclaas and Claas Reimer have been released on No Respect Records, Virtual Recordings and Important Records as well as licensed to several successful compilations.
Additional radio broadcast has been added by Steve Mason`s Experience and the HR3 Clubnight in DJ sets from Sven Väth, Pascal Feos and Steve Mason. Also in the specialised press like Groove and Raveline the different productions met a consistantly positive feedback. Influenced by varying styles of modern electronic music and working with his band Flaming Bess his style advanced more and more during the time. In the club sound sector electro and broken beats were increasingly placed in his record bag and productions. Currently elements of Dub and HipHop meet Techno, Trance and Drum&Bass. The results are groovy mixes and tracks where also melodic parts are involved. At the same time stilistically flexible from filigree minimal up to energetic rave sound.
