my biography

I'm songwriter, remixer and composer living in Oslo. The music I've been listening to, and therefore must be assumed to have had some impact on my own music making, includes: pop/rock since the early 80's, multiple forms of jazz, classical and contemporary forms of art music, and Steely Dan.

Beside of suffering and working in solitude, just like any romantic, misunderstood genius, I'm also engaged in songwriting projects with partners, trying to bring contemporary pop music to the next level.

Hey there, thanks for the ccMixter remix including me- listening to your work here makes me happy to have been chosen for some of your sonic explorations outside of mi7
:-)
Definitely work worth paying attention to, just needs less shyness for completion ;-)

Hello,
Midnight fatique, is a very pleasant song to listen to. A lot of effects, but on the right spot.
I love it very much.

Nice. "Midnight fatigue" is thoroughly pleasant. You have a very good ear for finding these really nice harmonies and melodic phrases.

You also hit that sweet spot of not overdoing it - it's a great balance between sounds and giving them space to play around in.

Now how about some vocals?

Hi, vider!! How are you ?
I Iistened to your vocal on your 1st song at first time!
Hey, you need more practice if you agree with my point.
Keep up for your music, and sometimes with your relaxing,
O.K ????? I'll do so too.
Wish you luck!

Hey you. Go back to work on your latest unfinished piece.

Keeping us waiting like this is practically _criminal_. :)

Do you remember that you told to me ????
Ofcourse, I remember we are!
Sorry for saying too late, but I was so happy.

_Nice_ - I hadn't come by here for a while, and just listened through your new unfinished piece. What a pleasant surprise - kept well grounded by the piano harmonies, but with excellent production techniques that keeps it very interesting.
Really hope you go back to work on this one - extend it and perhaps re-record the vocals, which currently sound a bit blurred compared to the rest of the track.
Great track - thanks for posting this one.

Hi Vidar,
Thank you very much for your vote and nice words. I've just listened to your beautiful music again. It's inspiring. It reminds me of the need to intensify composition and arrangement, deeper my songs, make them wider, travel through sounds, add more colours, etc. Anyway…
Once again: thanks!
Best wishes and success,
Richard

Hi vbre, how are you doing?
Came by to vote for you, actually. But I didn't know you're not in the contest. May I nevertheless ask you to vote for me? That I would really appreciate… thanks!

Hi vbre,
I've enjoyed your "nigh music" very much, I'm a bit of a night time composer myself...
I'd love to hear more from you.
