Ruff & Jam is a duo of Producers, Writers & Remixers (Jean Marie "Ruff" Moens & Luke "Jam" Mourinet), they met in Brussels (Belgium) in the mid 90's, Luke started in the early 90's as a DJ Producer, Remixer, constantly moving between Paris, Brussels and London.
On a Fashion event in Brussels he met Jean-Marie who was writing songs and singing in bands. They decided to join their forces to start a production team; the learning curve of their work/passion went through various areas of the musical production.
With their work on Kylie Minogue's "Love at first sight", everything went beyond all expectations, Their Remix became Kylie's Official Radio & Video mix in the USA, Kylie got her first nomination ever for the Grammy Award in the Best Dance Recording Category, Remix scored #1 in Billboard Dance Charts.Ruff & Jam made then a big step onto the international scene.
Our Music is a mix of Electronic,Rock, Urban,Club. A Ruff & Jam track is often made accessible to translate a vibe to a wider audience, cause we love the crowd We like mixing old school with new school techniques.

- I went to Rotterdam specially to visit your appearance at MI7's gathering (and see my friend Rene performing). I was impressed by the clear vision you have on treating the artist's track with respect and keeping the remix in the artists comfort zone.
You mentioned to do this with an open mind though and then played your latest remix of Bob Marley's "Is this love". I was blown away by it. Talking about keeping an open mind. Respect.
