my biography

My name is Arvid Waelkens and I'm the owner of Blueprint Recording.
I'm a musician playing percussion (conga's, bongo's, djembé, cajon, little percussion, ...) and trumpet (Bb/C Trumpet, Flugelhorn).

I studied at the Conservatory of Ghent and followed masterclasses with Benny Wiame, Steven Devolder (Mucho Gusto), Bart Maris (Flat Earth Society, Moker, The Whodads, Briskey, ...), Hans Bossuyt (The Whodads, Mucho Gusto, Briskey, ...), Jan Desmet (The Swigshift, Mucho Gusto, ...), Dirk Brossé (Composition)

I'm playing percussion in the Latin Big Band Mucho Gusto, percussion & trumpet with "The Amazing Cowboys" and played already with The Whodads, Marble, ...

On this moment I'm working on a project with "Margaretha Von Parma", there will be a release of the first EP begin of April, my own band Milano and the Electro-project of BigAlliance
