my biography

41 year old father of three boys living in small village 15 min. drive from Reykjavik, the capital city of Iceland.

Got my first guitar when I was 12, have been playing ever since.

A song writer, guitarplayer and founder of the band Greifarnir (The Counts) since 1986 and still running :)

Just recently got my own Pro Tools (Digi rack 002) and also Reason 3 and now I'm trying to learn using this stuff and record my songs at home.

This is a fantastic situation and the only problem now is time shotage.

Description: I really love the tremolo guitar in this one. Another song that I wrote for my band, Greifarnir.

Description: Just a playin rock song. Still have some work to do with the guitars.

Title: Entangled

Description: 1984 a friend of mine wrote this lyrics and me and my pal Viddi wrote the song that same year. A few years later my friend commit suicide. Recently the band that I am playing with (Greifarnir) decided to record that song. Everything was playd on orginal instrument, no samplers was used and the choir in the end is me and Viddi recorded together 36 times. This is very unlike anything we have made in the past but we like it alot.

Hi Flink from Iceland, how are you? Thanks for your friendship at Mi7. Came by to vote, but I noticed you're not in the RWS contest.
What a sad story behind 'Entangled', but it's probably my favorite, together with 'Meskalin'. I like the guitar solo in Bo Diddleyan 'Se thig aldrei meir'.
