THE EVIL SEAGULLS :

Gerd was our gearslut and did all the mixes and mastering of our tracks

Mathew was our singer and gave us some shivers due to his great voice

Chris, our multi-instrumentalist played the electric guitars, bass and keys and wrote "Eclipse"

Lorenz our youngster played the drums

David Bellizzi, the Six-string bass player from Raleigh NC/US did the incredible bass tracks on "Dream On"

Leo, our fast and furious guitar fret racer who played the intense and romantic tracks on "Dream On"

And last but not least: Antares our electronic artist who will be presented with new tracks in the near future

Mark alias "Hintermann" wrote "She came along.." and "Dream On" where he played all acoustic guitars and did some vocal tracks

Just listening to your new track sorry that it took some time to stop by. Well the electronic pieces add some new components to your progressive rock base which I likle. In fact this is fully my taste and so I feel home listening to it. Great bassline and spacy sounds. Again a masterpiece from you guys. Love it

Now dreaming is a thing close to my heart (I have another version on my own page) great song this. Your music makes me think of the old Caravan records. Good stuff. Frankly you seagulls don`t seem so evil judging from your music (am I wrong?).

Ok listened to Dream On again, difficult to give you some ideas on improvements as I think you are already close to perfection with it. Well for my taste I would try to build up a climax close to the end - currently you start with this very powerful bassplaying and the drumbeats with the snare on 3 - a nice old groove - I am missing this somewhat at the end also the drums stay more or less on the same pace during the song ( I do not mean the tempo but what is played) so probably drumming could be added at the end building up to a real climax which should stop at the point where you feature the solo guitar and the acoustic guitar again - there you do not need drums any longer . As you mention that this is a collab between 3 musicians I guess you have programmed the drumming ? Does this help you ?

hey Marc,
thnx for the message. its hard to judge a song like 'dream on' from a few listens. but here goes. the words are fine from a grammer point of view, and heartfelt in poetic sense. i assume they are for your child. the bass playing is excellent. especialy at the start. i like the transitions between the sections of the song. especially the way the acoustic guitar comes in. the lead guitars in the final section are cool, if a bit quiet -for these old ears :)- mabye you could up them in your mix. overall i rate it as a great track. it takes me back to my youth. haha those dim , sepia days.
