my biography

I played drums in a band in the '80 and the early '90. In the '80 we played our own music, influenced by bands like Big Country, Runrig, Simple Minds, Pretenders, The Men They Couldn't Hang and of course U2. We played at the "Midtfyns festival" in '87 and '89. In 90 we got bored, and changed our focus to the '60. We dropped 10 years of material and started all over ... But after a few years, we were bored again. All material was dropped again, and we started over - this time influenced by ZZ-top, Georgia Satelites and so on.. But that didn't work out either, so we split up.

After 20 years playing 3 hours of music every day, I simply lost ALL interst for music. I got rid of my stereo and my record/CD collection was stored at an addict. This lasted untill two years ago, when I realized, I missed making music. Now I've got an old Ensoniq SD-1 synth, on whitch i have great fun making rock-music, when the kids have been put to bed!

Below are two examples of my musik. None are finished, but this is what i have made so far...

I know i aint the greatest singer in the world, but i dont give a shit, 'cause it's the proces of making it, not the result that have my interest.

my sounds

Title: Let me go!
Noalbum_80
Enrolled in contest: Micro-Phones (vote for me!)
Description: This is a half done song. I need the right idea to move on. But it will come some day. Recorded in my livingroom with 2 mic's, an old guitar amp, my stereo and my dvdrecorder.
Title: Sally.
Noalbum_80
Enrolled in contest: Micro-Phones (vote for me!)
Description: Like the first, though here I've got the skeleton done. Yet i still have to polish both music, lyrics and vokal

my influences

Mostly bands of the 80 and the early 90'ies: Big Country, David Bowie, Electric Light Orchestre, David Lee Roth, Blur, The Hooters, Adam and the Ants, Stray Cats, Blondie, John Lennon, AC/DC, Sisters of Mercy and so on. But also bands like Green Day, Ramstein and Dropkick Murphy's are a source of inspiration.

Hi Flemming,
Maybe you'd like to check out the new versons of some of tracks of mine (including Invisible by the way!). I rearranged them and mixed and mastered in Nashville.
Also I thought it could be great to wind the Audiotechnica headphones if you help me with your voting (I'm kidding!).
Hope all is well on your side of the world.

Hi Flemming,
Thanks for responding and your honest comment. And thanks also for the support! Much appreciated. Just gave my vote for you. It's good you picked up music again. Life without it is a lot more mediocre. Keep playing…
Success from the Netherlands,

certainly, don't worry. All you need to know is that I will have a female singer from down under visiting me on the 10th of July. she is also working on a version of the song. so it would be good to get at least an idea before that date to enable comparing and to probably take some of your ideas and lyrics.

Hi Flemming,
Thanks for your nice comment. I like almost all genres of music more or less and I like trying myself in different fields as well. As for 'INYF' I'm very glad you like it as this direction is my favourite trying to play with r'n'b section while playing rock.
Thank yoou once again for visit and consideration.

Hi Flemming,
I think your music is quite unique and the key is your voice. Your music makes me want to go slug down a few brews, shots and whatnots, party out and sing along! Great work keep the party rockin! Quite different than my style which is more like smoke up, space out and take slow train. lol

Hi Flemming,
Thanks for your comment. It's a pity I can't listen to your music online because here in Kazakhstan they have a turtle-like Net - something about 50 kBt/sec.
Anyway glad to hear from you.

Hi Flemming, cool voice - reminds me of slade and twisted sisters

I have joined the UNPLUGGED contest here at MI7 with my song "Let it ring". I hope you can spend some minutes to listen to the song and maybe give me your vote in the contest... that is.... if you like it, of course.

Thanks
