my biography

Self-made, preferably into electronics and instrumental music. Experimental and "songable" - I guess contrasts in every way there is, is the thing for me...
Born, raised and living in Sweden, 39 years old.

my sounds

Title: Running Sleepless
Hpim0680
Description: Simply nice sounds combined with stiff sequencing - the kind of stuff I like...
Title: Ahead of the Others
F1020026
Description: This song popped into my head after having seen "Lola Rent" for the first time. Strict sequencer stuff - love that...
Title: Unconditional Joy
Hpim0452
Description: During the making of this one, I learned a lot of technical aspects on Reason 3.0. Now looking back at it, it seems a bit to simple in parts, but still rather good. Also I've always loved samples voices - as you may well notice...
Title: Fadeaway
Smooth_stuff_remix
Description: Rather unusually a regular song, though with heavy electronic sound - of course - what else is there? EBM-song, sort of. Quite qatchy if you ask me...
Title: Totally Mental
Minimaclouds
Description: Noisy nonsense - or perhaps not? Highly improvised. Not my typical kind of song, but this is what I've got at hand at the moment.

my influences

Vangelis, Front 242, J-M Jarre, Kraftwerk, Laibach, Yello, Depeche Mode, Nitzer Ebb, Tangerine Dream, Beatles, Art of Noise, Pink Floyd, Brian Eno, Propaganda, Yazoo, Biosphere, Aphex Twin, Bernard Herrmann, John Williams, Christopher Young, Jerry Goldsmith, Jürgen Knieper, Angelo Badalamenti, Goran Bregovic, Peter Gabriel, Duke Ellington, Philip Glass, Michael Nyman - among others...

Hi Shape,

Welcome to the club! Good to read you have Front 242 as influence - they were one of the first Steinberg users at that time. ok - "Don't Stop The Music!"

Ciao - Jan

Isaac Manuel Francisco Albéniz was born in Cataluna, Spain and lived from 29 mei 1860 untill 18 mei 1909 when he died of a kidney disease only 49 years old. Asturias (Asturias-Leyenda) is the prelude from Suite Española originally written for piano.
With the greatest respect for Depeche Mode, the roots of our version go back a little further.
Kind regards, Tom

A pleasure to listen to your tracks. Running sleepless could last another 3 minutes, has a great vibe, as far as I'm concerned.
Kind regards, Tom

Hi there. I think you, me and Rodney would have a great time listening to music together. We could add "Gebhardon" as well :-) Welcome!
