my biography

Swedish composer and artist. Born on September 9, 1969, in the city of Örebro.
At the age of six he fell in love with a Steinway & Sons grand piano - and the love story continues as you read this. Apart from the music Peder Strandh also work as an artist; painter, and exhibits his work in various locations in and around his base in Sweden.

”I consider the audio- and visual input that I, and everybody else for that matter, get in life as part of the same phenomenon; the core of existence”. (Peder Strandh, 2003)

Peder Strandh’s ambition for the future is to work as an ”artist free at heart”. Composing for himself and other artists has been and always willl be a part of every days work.
Having experienced a vast range of conserts (electronica, folk music and rock/pop), back in the 1990’s, he now sets aim for the stage once again. Just you wait and see and listen!

my sounds

Title: Devine Melody
Solitaire_en_tout_olja_2006
Description: Actually this was originaly two different songs ending up as one. The outro is what I used to call the devine melody - since I'm very fond of that "looping melody" - and I composed that part back in 1986. The lyrics is a statement from my beeing-seventeen-years-old period. Prety much describing my search for an own identity. A tribute to my teen-time-hero, Depeche Mode's song writer Martin L. Gore, is also provided in the song. Both the songs will make tracks on my next album "thePuddyProject UNO" (release in May 2007).
Title: At the Circus
Mammon_walking
Description: Melodic and theatrical song Peder Strandh dedicated to the fascinating "world of the manège".

Hi Peder, how are you? You're one of the last on my friendslist I needed to visit. Voting time isn't over yet, so I came by to listen more closely and vote. 'Devine melody' reminds me, like Mindmovie, of John Lennon's Imagine. The second song has a very low volume, I think you need to crank it up some more. But it's a nice song. I voted for both.
Hope you'll find some time to listen to my songs and give them the right place in the contest. Thanks!
Best wishes from the Netherlands,
Richard

Devine Melody reminds me on Imagine from Mr. Lennon - that's probably one of the biggest compliments I can make. Voted for the song !! Thanks for sharing it with us.

Such sad songs, I think your piano loves you too, but you should consider lifting your vocals (and the entire songs) a bit though, they are very quiet.
