my biography

Scali is a guitarist from The Hague. He has been playing since the age of 16, is mostly self-taught, and inspired mostly by 80s/90s guitarists such as Joe Satriani, but also interested in various other guitarists, such as Shawn Lane or Les Paul.
After about 2 years, he and a friend got together and started writing and recording songs, and performing them on occasion.
When starting university, this creative cooperation came to an end.
But now Scali finds himself with a renewed interest in playing and writing music.
Jamming along with fellow musicians through the internet, writing and recording songs, and trying to put a new band together.

Its always nice to hear someone play an actual instrument. Great guitar work...I enjoyed "Whats your name, Hero?" the best - very evocative.

Excellent guitarplay on Donnez moi la Liberté!

Thanks, yes I played all parts on the songs here on MI7.
On my SoundClick page there's a lot of stuff, including jams over backingtracks, where the rhythm was usually already pre-recorded.

Hallo Scali,
Lange tijd geleden… Alvast bedankt, succes!

You sure know how to handle your guitar, no wonder you won the competition. Your tracks are very mellow and just a little bit sad, a female voice could match them perfectly. Great logo too.

Thanks everyone.
I agree that a singer (I think female would be best) would be a good addition to my music.
I've tried some things with a singer, but haven't quite found a good match.
So if any singers read this, and are interested, we could give it a shot.

Hey Scali! Hey from Paris, France!
A singer (male or female) will add
a lot to your tunes.
Like the way you pick up ur guitar!

Hi Scali,
"What's your name, hero?" is a great piece, and so is "Alive". I myself make a different kind of music but I've always been a fan of some of your guitar heroes. Bye and success in finding the right people for a band.

YOu should load up a picture as well ! YOur songs really earn it.
