my biography

I was born in Salerno, Italy, in 1967. I started to play various instruments at the age of 10 and immediately had a flair for composing music. Over the years I have composed hundreds of songs and multimedia soundtracks, without neglecting concert performances. In 1995, I was a finalist at Castrocaro, a national festival of italian music. I have published 4 CDs as a singer-songwriter ("LIBERI", 2000; "MAREA", 2001; "CAOS", 2002; "CO2", 2003).
In 2003 I wrote my first thriller "L'alveare" (www.marcogrieco.it/alveare) and on 2005 I won a national prize for writers in the"Viaggiare e scrivere, scrivere e viaggiare" contest. I have composed all the music and collaborated with my brother, Massimo, on the lyrics for "ODYSSEY, the musical" www.odisseathemusical.com

My friends:

I wrote the song, as Synthetic1 knows, of this video when Rami Jamal Aldura, a young Palestinian boy, was shot in his father's arms. The story of his death and photos are available at the link http://ark2.www7.50megs.com/MohammedAldura.html . With all my heart I would wish that through my song and my video, with your help somehow, this story will never be forgotten.
