my biography

Started around 1980 with a cheap SK1 Casio which could sample some 2.6 seconds of sound and then play it on the 1.5 octave keyboard. After that came other keyboards, the Atari Stfm and now Logic Express on a Mac. Worked together with a friend for many many years, but since i moved 1100 km's away early 2006 i'm doing most by myself. Making music for me is just serious fun, it's not my profession.

my sounds

Title: Screwed
Screw_art
Description: Started as a remix but went out of control. Spoken voice and obscure rythm.
Title: Crescendo1g
Crescendo_cachi_copy
Description: Started with one chord, as often created with putting my hands on the keyboard in an at random manner while looking at the ceiling.
Title: Mallet_do
Mallet_art
Description: Remake of an original Shock the Monkey-remix.

So, I'm finally here. I'm glad to find more of your music on this site. You seem to be more experimental here than your tracks are on Real World Remixed. Crescendo1g and Screwed were both very interesting and in some strange way very enchanting. And Screwed was also very sensual. I would say: uncompromising and great music. I hope are able to make more music in the future.

Hi, The former message is actually by me. I didn't see that I was logged in under my husband's name by mistake (we use the same computer)

Hi! What is your name? (real name)
I find your music very interesting. You create very visual atmospheres. I can imagine moving pictures when I listen to your music. I especially liked "screwed".
All the best-

Hi HM, how are you? Thanks for your Mi7 friendship.
I'm on my round of listening to my friends' music (and voting if required). I'm not very familiar with your experimental kind of music, but I like what I hear. 'Screwed' has some surprising elements (that sudden piano for instance, surrounded by discomforting rhythm).
Hope you like my songs and that you'll vote for me… thank you!
Greetings and success from the Netherlands,
Richard

My My Mercy you were really out to destroy that damn hailey song wernt you. Very origional and unexpected. kept my interest throughout, closed my eyes, got a little disturbed by that manic heartbeat. opened them again.

HM - just a quick note to say that my version of "screwed" now is available on my page; and also to say thanks - it's such a terrific piece, and it was such a pleasure to work with. Pass my thanks on to your lovely-sounding girlfriend. :)

Hey HM Screwed sounds even better without the RWR vocals on it. Glad you posted this.

Stunning soundcollage. I am glad to hear the original work and wonder how the intended RW remix version would have sound like. Nevertheless, this track shows impressivly your skills on composing. If you ever should stop your "normal" profession, you should try to get a professional "modern music" composer! :-)
(this includes your other tunes here too)

The vocals in italian language are very good, the voice of course too. Who did the translation? ;-)

Great work HM!

"Screwed" is almost obsessive-compulsive in its attention to detail and in its focus on pulling off a particular idea ... and it works amazingly well for me.
Great combination of sounds, noises and beautiful vocals. Great work.
P.S. - love your song images

A precious pearl of remix work!Very great:-)

I like your "Crescendo1g", it`s such a completely different way of making music than the way I do it, looking at the ceiling huh? I`ve gotta try it sometime.

Hey. Just dropping by to say reiterate how much I like your Milann remix. This is exactly what makes an experiment in collaboration like this so exciting - seeing what different musicians can accomplish, and inspiring me to go back and just work more.
Now get more of your own tracks posted here! :)

Hi HM, thanks for your nice comment about Ethno Alien a collaboration of Rene Lenting and myself - thanks to this site. If you like the track I would be very happy and honoured if you can vote for it in the real world Contest. Just Listening to your music while I am typing. The first track seems to be very dark - maybe a good tune for a movie. Hey ajnd on Mallet Do I do not here any relation to Shock the Monkey anymore - I guess I'll have to visit the realword site again to listen to the original.
