my biography

Welcome to my page. My name is Dave and I am an aspiring electronic artist. Everything I have learned about making music has come from long periods of trial and error and experimentation, and a lot of tips and tricks passed on from friends... thanks Brandon! Most of my work is done in a freeform style, improvised if you will, in real time. I just feel the need to create constantly and will move from one project to another( I guess I'm bored with music very easily(listening and creating). That is the way I prefer to work seeing that I am easily bored during tedious tasks. Using this method, I have accumulated over 200 compositions and experiments(over a period of about 2 years) that I believe are very creative and original. They might not be the greatest in sound quality or structure sometimes, but the real point to look at is the creativity and the abstract ideas implied in the work. I have actually been experimenting with programs for about 6 years, but the last 2 I've been a little more serious about it. I work on a korg EM-1 Electribe workstation, an alesis SR-16 drum machine, and a newly aquired korg EMX-1 and various programs( Reason, Acid Pro 5, Fl studio 6.0 etc... If you visit my freewebs page, you will find links to various sites I have music up on www.freewebs.com/unsoundjustice. I have taken the time to fully realize a composition before, taken the time to rework certain tracks to what I believe is a set standard for electronic music. I am happy with what I ended up with but I always prefer to take the experimental route. It is far less stressful and a lot more fun. I am not a full fledged electronic recording artist, nor do I think I am. There are many things I am still learning, and will still be learning in the future. What better way to learn than a do it yourself, hands on experience. I pretty much record anything and everything I create, which is nice to go back to and see how I've grown and what I've learned. All in all this is just a fun and productive learning experience for me, that I do in my spare time. If someone likes the work I do that is great, but I'm not going to beat myself up if they don't. Thanks for listening and please come back again. KRYPTX

my sounds

Title: Headway
Cryptic_eye
Description: Another free flowing piece, with some elements of drum n bass and trance, but I'd describe it as upbeat ambient, with an experimental twist.
Title: Freefall
Cryptic_eye
Description: A mixture of styles, resulting in a very experimental freeflowing piece, that could possibly be classified as world music.
