my biography
Anders Fogelqvist decided to work with music at the age of four. He started out by playing the piano and later one when he was thirteen he started to play the guitar as well. At the age of sixteen he found another passion and it was studioengineering. At this time he decided that he would own his own studio and give artist the chance to record proffessional recordings without having to pay all their savings.
He Studied at the University in Gothenburg where he got a diploma as a musicteacher for higher grades and had Björn Asplind as his Studioteacher. The four years Anders were in Gothenburg he made som of his most important connections and today he has started to build up his studio.
Today the studio is just started and Anders is looking for location to build it in. The studio is now using Pro Tools LE 7.3 with digi002, a Focusrite Octapre with adat lightpipe, and a command 8 control board which give a 48 chanel recordning studio with 18 chanel simultanious recordning. He use Genelec studiomonitor to get the best sound for his ear when mixing. The most important in Anders studio is that the microphones is carefoully selected, they are not the standard microphones because then you could go to any studio in the world, no, Anders studio is gonna give you a speciall sound that you wont here anywhere else.
Planes for the studio in the future is, A location specially build for recording pop, rock, jazz, funk and metal. Upgrade to a Pro tools HD-system. By more microphones that holds the standards for Anders ears. The nearest upgrade is probably a drumkit from Audix if they sound as good as they say. If you have a band or if you are a soloartist Anders studio is the place for you. Here you can do a basic recording, or if you want to, writer music in the studio with a variety of instruments both live and virtual. Pro tools is also a great program to add soundeffects and music to your musicvideo and get it redy for the web.
