my biography

Marc Mitchell, born in Hammersmith, London in 1959.Emmigrated to South Africa with my parents at the tender age of 2, so having spent all of my adult life in SA, i guess i'm a Dual National.......
I"m Divorced and am the proud father of a 17 year old son Joshua, who is one mean guitarist....I want him to play in the band, but he says he's not sure if he wants to play with the
"old man"...bloody hell but time flies huh??

A Composer/Sound Designer living and working in Johannesburg South Africa.
Trained as a sound engineer and was lucky to have started in a company that catered to all aspects of audio.So i was able to work in , music, radio, film, Television and multi-media.Later worked in theatre as well as live sound reinforcement.This was all a great grounding.
Most of the last 10 -15 years have been spent in music, film and TV post production.
I have a passion for music and film and am blessed to be able to earn my living in this field.
