Copenhagen, Denmark
Steen Larsen's biography & gear!
Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, '61, too late for Hendrix and The Beatles! But all in good time for Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Slade and more! Really started up the electric playing around 76 - 77, just in time to pick up Ritenour, Carlton, AND The City Boys. Try to find their albums, SUPER progrock, and serious GUITAR playing by Mr.Mike Slamer. Possibly (by my knowledge, anyway) the first (and NOT Eddie Van Halen!) to do tapping, pull on/off and shit!
Then in '78, Toto released their first album, and instantly, Steve Lukather and I became "friends and soulmates". To this day i can't come up with another player as complete, musically gifted, and rockin' as Luke, and we even share the same initials (he he)
Enough said, here's my gear:
