my biography

Since 1998 the duo of Christa Belle and War-N Harrison have been creating their own special blend of trip-hop, darkwave and pop music topped with Christa's enchanting vocals. Hungry Lucy has internationally released 3 full-length albums ("Apparitions", "Glo" and "To Kill a King") and EP ("Before We Stand ... We Crawl") and a DVD ("Second Sight") as well as appearing on many compilations CD. All the while, the duo has remained staunchly independent in their methods, mindset and style. Hungry Lucy also produces a weekly podcast "Tea with Hungry Lucy" and period video podcast.

Description: This song, from Hungry Lucy's 2nd cd "Glo", combines tribal rhythms, eastern and celtic melodies and beautiful female vocals to create true World Music. In the Circle is a plea to the powers of the world to work as one.

Title: Harvest

Description: Harvest appeared on Hungry Lucy's 2006 EP "Before We Stand ... We Crawl". The song begins with piano and Christa’s lonesome voice singing of a tragedy bringing people closer. The song ultimately builds to a powerful crescendo of music and emotion. Sounds like Coldplay, Keane or Sia

Title: We Won't Go

Description: Hungry Lucy was commissioned to write this song for a Neil Gaiman tribute CD. The song is based on Neil's story "The Wolves in the Walls". It appears on the CD "Where's Neil Wen You Need Him?" alongside Tori Amos and Azam Ali
