my biography

Hello, my name is Lucy and i´m born in the Netherlands in a musicians family. In the early 80s i came to Germany and started my carrier in different rock groups, for many years singer with the famous blues bros revival band, went on tour with chris farlow and many others, did hundreds of studio jobs and live gigs. today i do concerts with my own group, work as a jazz- and gala-singer (paul kuhn, ketzer band etc.) and for many years i work as a vocal teacher in a cologne music school... visit my homepage to find more informations...

Description: I recorded this song in 2005 for the last Flaming Bess record called Black Sun. The Band members are some of my oldest friends in Germany so it was a pleasure to do something together with them after several years

Description: aretha franklins big vocal song in "blues brothers". the band members came for example from the herbert grönemeyer group (german top 10 group) and the guitar player was in the group of shaka khan before... recorded live at jovel music hall, münster. published on cd.

Title: As time goes by

Description: one song from my big jazz repertoire. book me all over europe to feel it... recorded live at the jazz matinee, essen and published on cd.

Title: How can we believe that everything´s alright

Description: modern groove from the early 90s with bill clintons original voice and promises in his first election campaign... never published...

Title: Frankfurt/Main

Description: when i came to germany this was my first record with the group "himmelblau". big text about a desperate girl in the dirtiest german city.
