2-legged Freaks is a headstunning, hardrockband from the lowlands of Holland. What else can expect from 3 people with the word music carved in their souls, who listen to music styles that vary from the swamps of the blues to the heavy metal from the 80's, blending everything together with intensity and a contemporary sound.
2-legged Freaks have as mission to rock you and make some cool new music as well and to accomplish that 2-legged Freaks have played shows with people in the audience of all ages and played from small pubs to bigger venues.
2-legged Freaks started in 2004 as a school band with Sjoerd van Ophem on the leadguitar and vocals and Marc Schouten on the drums. After a few weeks Roelof van Ophem was added to the line up, to play the low ends. At that time the band decided to write some own material and januari 2005 the band played is first gig in "de Dars". After some other succesful gigs the band decided that they needed a guy who could play second guitar and Robbert Former, a good friend of the band, was added to the line-up. In the last months of 2005, the band recorded the demo "Recorded Madness" and you can listen some of our songs of the demo on this myspace.
March 2006 2-legged freaks did win a price of the audience in the first round of the band battle "nh-glorie". August 2006 Robbert decided to leave the band and 2-legged Freaks decided to continue without him. Now you can hear the new demo here on myspace!
