United States
I was born in Chicago and lived most of my life there, however the six years have been spent mostly in LA (when I wasn't in NY, Tokyo or Bangkok).
For over a decade I designed Audio Gear for Shure (while living in Chicago) and hung out with my friends, many who were in bands such as "Die Warzau", "Thrill-Kill-Kult", "Blue Eyed Christ" and "Transalarm".
I moved to LA to work with another audio company, but that didn't work out so I went on tour with "Man... or Astro-Man?!?" to do something different.
Then some airplanes struck some building in NY and I joined the military-industrial monster and helped design awesome toys for the US military; which was a lot of fun while it lasted! (I have been interested in jets since I watched my father perform in the U.S. Navy's "Blue Angels" squadron.)
When the military thing ended I went to BurningMan. After that I moved to NY for a year (to try something else different - plus I had wanted to live in NY ever since 10 years earlier when I went with "Die Warzau" to do a show at the Limelight). BTW, it was through Jim Marcus of "Die Warzau" that I got involved with the PulseBlack label.
Now I am back in the Chicago area again working for Bosch, in their "Security Systems" division which purchased Telex, Dynacord, Midas, RTS, Klark-Teknik, and EV (Electro-Voice) about a year ago. This is perfect for me, for now.
There are many. David Bowie, Led Zeplin and Klaatu were early ones; then came Henry Rollins, Bauhaus, and Front 242 (and Jim Marcus and Die Warzau). Bach was a pretty cool cat too! ;)
