Description: An improvised piano piece around a few chords. My idea of relaxing and pretending i am Dave Grusin or Bob James.
Title: Woman Like Me
Description: Well as a few people seemed to like Charmaines vocals i thought i would add another. I wrote this song for her in a Destinys Child sort of framework around the same time as Way Back Then. Rather than writing a generic lyric i penned it from a womans point of view. In fact i did a lot of that at the time . It can have an effect on you. But after a year of therapy i stopped wanting to buy shoes and handbags. :-)
Title: Enos by NASA
Description: There’s a lot of history in this mix. I have blogged it if you want to know more. In short it’s a cover of one of the remixes I did for the Shock the Monkey competition. The original you can find here.

Title: Way Back Then
Description: One of a whole batch of songs i wrote with a talented vocalist and friend Charmaine Kay back in 2003.
We wrote it on day when the sun shone ,there was no breeze, a lazy hazy day way back then, thinking about a time even more Way Back Then .
Title: Russian Blue
Description: Bit of a Zhivago, Ballet, Epic.
Shades of David Foster, Spandau Ballet and Duran Duran play to the images of a cold war, iron curtain love story.
LS - really enjoyed Russian Blue and Enos was really very beautiful. Regarding Dali - funny you should cite him in your message to me. I only last weekend was at an exhibition of "Dali and Film" (curated by Tate) but on display at the Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida...and I saw that very quote.
You are "The" Loveshadow with the very nice Shock the monkey remix, The ballad of Eno on the Peter Gabriel contest ? This is so well done. It's a total new song you made out of a few lines and a pattern with so much feeling. My had of and lot's of respect. I hope to hear very often new things from you. Regards, William
Your stuff here and over at ccmix is just ecxellent! Especially I love Twelve. I tought I would give that pella a try my self. Now I'm thinking - why bother.
Hi, nice to meet you! I didn't know, What a wonderful artist as you in MI7 community! Yes, you are!! I wnna be your friends. Wish you luck!! Seeyaa by HUMANOISE...
My goodness. I never imagined my effort would actually get picked to be on the album, although maybe the one-track-per-remixer rule was responsible for that ;) Congrats, I had no doubt you'd be on there, even if you had only remixed one of her tracks.
Congratulations on the inclusion of your May remix on the Calendar Songs album. She could have made an album with just your beautiful remixes alone. One of these days I am going to listen to them all in one go.
OK, OK- so I got some tunes up already(even if most of them *are* remixes)... I know, yawn yawn, but I wanted to at least give people something to listen to, while I try to put something original together that won't make people burst out laughing...
Hi LS, thank you for your comment back. :) Yes, I'm very interested in how I grow and age and what it makes me. I'm slightly different than I was one second ago. I decided to add 2 more from my old songs until I finish any of new ones. It'd be great to get your feedback sometime.
Hi, cool songs! I also checked your other songs on your myspace page too. They are great! I especially like Tonight Tonight! I want to hear that song in a club, it must be fun! I hope you'd hear my music sometime as well.
Hi loveshadow I have just reproduced, remastered and reloaded all my songs. If you have the time to spare please come over, listen and tell me what you think. Take care!
Hahh - thanks for dropping by and commenting. And yes, it's definitely _almost_ a smile in the picture - which if you think of it isn't half bad for a Swede. Heck, it's downright _happy_. :)
Wail not ifn you've already had two pieces a Aunt Myrtle's Kayro Nut Pie there ain't. . .lessn it's strawberry-banana jello. Then I guess I could force it down. Probly. Oh hell yea, shore I could.
