my biography

NAVYBLUE is my most recent musical project. Four songs from its demo were released in the summer of 2006 and all of them were written, played and recorded by myself.
With the help of a MIDI keyboard, a bass and a couple of guitars, I managed to complete a long-time dreamed project, not having to leave my home!

I was born in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1981. My path as a performer musician began in 1999, playing drums in a pop/garage band, Piso 99, which turned into The Seasongs after changing some of its members.
With this new band I started playing guitar and vocals, having performed many times in Madrid and its surroundings. We frequently shared stage with important Spanish bands such as Alien in Love and The Winnerys.
I left The Seasongs in early 2005 to focus myself in this project, NAVYBLUE, adopting my mother's surname, Martinelli.


I sincerely hope that this music will bring much joy to all of you.
