The rhythm reminds me a bit of an old instrumental Alan Parsons tune who is one of my favourites.

Hey - "droplette" is quite excellent. Very monotonous - but it works really well for this style.
Rather than having a single really long track, I would love to see maybe three or four parts to this one (sort of like how FSOL used to release their EPs) - where each part could build on the original theme.
