my biography
DjayPee is a unique French artist with an Asian heart who fell in love with South-East Asia and its myriad of mysterious wonders, where he lives.
His music can be defined as “Eastern Tradition Meets Western Groove”. He is inspired by modern bands and composers (Era, Enigma, JM Jarre, Kitaro, Deep Forest, Andrew Lum, Moby, Ruychi Sakamoto, BT,...), as well as by observing local traditional and performances in many countries in Asia.
This has led to award winning compositions including ‘Geisha’ (best composition from Malaysia in the Music Aid Competition 2006).
