my biography

Blue Planet is a german composer, producer, arranger and keyboardist, working in different musical directions and genres. Making no differences between classical or modern music styles, of natural or electronic instruments, but almost prefers melodic themes, combined with esthetical mixes and sounddesigns.

Working in music is divided in:

1. Songwriting (with singers and instrumental artists)
2. Instrumentals (CD productions with themes)
3. Arrangements (official coverversions and interpretations)
4. Media music (film and promotion)
5. Bavarian-Austrian Studio Connection - TIME PASSENGERS -

Title: Spirit Warriors - Duo Version: Description: This song is a collaboration of 3 musicains, coming from 3 countries. Uncle Steve (Canada) has written the indian lyrics, inspired by Black Elk, Lo Kivikas (Sweden) has worked out the vocal lines, my part was to compose and produce this song, and in this duo version also to sing together with Lo. The solo version of Lo Kivikas (with a kind of an indian vocal intro) is available on her own MI7 site and also on her MySpace site. May be this song could also inspire other MI7 members to dare exciting collaborations..
Title: Waveriders: Description: second instrumental of the CD "Tracks For The Beach". Feelings of being free, enjoying the sun and the sea, playing with the strong atlantic waves. Produced after a great summer in South West France.
Title: In The Morning Light: Description: this lovesong is about 15 years old and I produced it in different versions with several voices all over the years. This is the last, but may be not the least version.
Title: Space Night: Description: this track is a complete electronic instrumental, describing the space of our planet surroundings, regarding our beautiful earth from far away, with dark and strong impressions - combined with a lot of hopes.
Title: That´s Who I Am: Description: one of the first songwritings for Anna from Greece. The lyrics containing a lot of questions of the identity, balancing the inner spaces with the outstanding human world. The hard experience to become an individual personality and finally finding the beginning of an own way, that never ends during lifetime, in a kind of an eternal floating process.

thank you for your comment on True Love.
I understand what you mean about the percussion track. I was not 100 % sure of it either (rhythm is not my strongest point...), and I did try it out without the rhythm, but in the end I like it better with the percussion loops. I am sure a good percussionist would do a much better job than the few apple loops I used here.
Anyway, this is not the end of the song. I am playing with the idea of turning it into a duet.
