26 May, Calendargirl goodness!

I'm very excited to be able to tell you all May 26 is the date set for release of Calendargirl's album...  featuring me (of course), and several other MI7 members- please support  it; it not only means exposure for lesser-known artists like myself, but a better way for talented people to get their music heard by a wider audience, who might not have other avenues for exposure.

THINK about artists you may love today, that you might never have heard, except through chance- don't you deserve a better opportunity, than some happenstance random discovery?

Artists like Calendargirl (Tamara Barnett-Herrin) and others of us who are looking toward the future think so... join us, and  let's look forward toward  a musical future based more on what's possible, rather than what's permitted!

Woo-Hoo!
My remix of Calendargirl (AKA Tamara Barnett-Herrin, lead vocalist of Freeform Five)'s song "July", uploaded here as "Spit Shine Boy", has been selected for inclusion on her record "Calendar Songs Vol. 1",  due to be released early 2008. I couldn't be more surprised or pleased- I'd just thought I'd share the good news. Visit www.calendarsongs.com for more details.
Not Earth-shattering, but...
...I did finally make some "album art" for my other uploads. Will it make the songs sound any better? Maybe not, but at least my page is more colorful now... Go on, take a peek- you know you want to!
casualities of transition

Greetings to all at mi7. Apparently there's been a switch to new servers, and I'm hoping that's why I seem to have lost 4 virtual friends.  If you recently added me as a friend, and are having similar issues, please take a moment to do so again- it certainly wasn't me deleting you, I'm not that moody!  ;)

At least there's more than one track up now...

I  went ahead and filled up my song quota, just so people don't have a one-dimensional view of me, 3 of them are remixes from my other favorite site, ccmixter- but I at least made a lil' quick track just for here, no grand opus or anything, but why not? I'm in real trouble if start going and getting delusions of grandeur...

Of course, feel free to comment away, I won't bite, honest (unless you bite me first...)

Hello folks...
I will be putting up more tracks, there is more to me than beats, remixing and pretending I can rap (heh), but I also am more than willing and happy to collab on something; I'm always looking for open-minded people who love to trade ideas back and forth and see what happens!
