IDeal Audio Silent 19” PC’s are build to make computer-music making as straightforward as using a dedicated piece of hardware, which to date has been achieved by our range of quiet rack-mount audio-PCs. We chose components that are not only the best in terms of build quality and performance, but in terms of how well they interact with all of the other components in the system and how those interactions impact on the numerous and demanding requirements of audio production.

We chose an ultra-stable operating system with very few processes running in the background soaking up RAM and precious CPU resources. In short, anything that isn’t necessary to the operation of recording, editing and mixing audio, or could possibly interfere with these purposes, have been either switched off or eliminated.
