hi derek i appreciated very much your comments. although not my favorite style, i feel your music very enjoyable ( very positive and good to ear while working in my mac!) as you say, keep sailing! rocha
Hey Uncle Stevie, thank you very much for your comments and your greetings! I had a longer brake with mi7, happy to find you here again.. Warrior Henning
hey, thx for listening - i appreciate your opinions. I was just listening to "come on" - which I loved btw - and the chorus reminded of "dance with me" by cosmo vitelli (it's an obscure 80's club hit). I googled fred gwynne, and by golly - you were right, we're like twins lol. rock on bra
Thank you Uncle Steve, you`re always welcome! The debut CD will be soon ready, we hope to finish the complete stuff in about 2-3 month.. Greetings from Bavaria (deep in the country) Time Passengers
Hi Uncle Steve, thank's for your kind words on Creator and for being a friend. Looking forward to hear more, i like your music very much. I'm sure you like the songs of Time Passengers, especially Rudi's singing.
Take care my friend, Nice Greetings from the Netherlands
Hi Uncle Steve, thanks for your thoughts on my simple music, I value your comments and friendship! Nice to hear your music too, I like "Sailor's Valentine", nice feeling in that song. Best wishes /Simon
Hi Uncle… No need to apologize friend, you've given your opinon on music making, that's all - and in a friendly way too, you haven't hit me with something cynical. Very flattering of you to assume I have a lot of fans. Read my bio, it's all imaginary. Sometimes I wish I had fans, and sometimes I feel very relaxed and happy about not having them. The music business is no heaven. Its glamour is highly illusory. But still, making music, making art, is probably the best activity in the world, as long as it's not corrupted in a any way. Keep in touch, bye… Richard
Hi Derek, Thanks very much for responding, listening to my songs and commenting. What can I say? I'm an amateur, a 61-year old dilettante, gazing at all the gadgets of the modern virtual studio. Solo projects, with one single artist playing all the instruments, run the risk of becoming one-sided, hence the addition of effects. Sometimes I use them to disguise my own voice, make it somewhat unrecognizable. On the other hand, personally, I don't mind a touch of artificiality. Listening to your music I can imagine your 'buts' concerning my songs. Your songs have a Neil Young like openness. They are of great quality. I particularly enjoyed 'Sailor's Valentine' (beautiful intro). Best wishes from the wet lands of Holland, Richard
Hello Derek, thank you very much for your kind words and your private message, which I will answer later! I´m always happy to inspire other musicians with themes that they also love. Thank you for the thumbs up, ma brutha. Bruce Willis ...? Man, I wish. Loved that movie, but I think it should have been called “ Neurotic, wise cracking Father sensitively guides offspring though the slings ‘n arrows of life, whilst “ahem,” breaking a few respiratory extremities, along the way.”—What say you, dude?
Love You, Bro'. Your fave antipodean, undocumented, follically impaired, one eighth-thed Irish but unfortunately linked to the evil GB empire, 3500 kms due SW of ToOn. rt, yeah!
