My son, Lewis has Asperger Syndrome (a form of Autism). He was also diagnosed in April 2008 with Myasthenia Gravis, a very rare complex neuromuscular auto-immune disorder with approximately 100,000 cases diagnosed worldwide and for which there is no cure.
The video from my CD, "Countdown to Midnight" for "The Mad Hatter" has been posted at YouTube! Everything we do through the "Midnight In Chicago" initiative I founded and created to help individuals and families dealing with Autism.
We have learned that auto-immune disorders are diagnosed in 46% of immediate families where there is a child diagnosed with Autism. Auto-immune disorders are diagnosed in only 26% of extended families where there is no diagnosis of Autism.
Help us raise awareness of Autism and funds for Autism Organizations by being part of our Street Team who forwards information to others who may be interested in making this world a better place in 2009 for individuals and families dealing with Autism.
I am asking you to pass this link along to your friends, family, colleagues and acquaintances.
Hello dear friend. It is not my intention to spam you with this email. On December 17th I will release my first Solo album “Mindmovie- An Ocean Of Dreams”. If you like progressive rock music, like Pink Floyd, Camel, Alan Parsons or Joe Satriani and if you like guitar orientated rock songs I would be very very happy if you would take the time to visit my page listen to some of the songs and leave me a comment. The album will be available in the major download stores and can also be ordered as a limited edition double album through http://www.flaming-bess.de in case you dig my stuff. Have a great weekend and a wonderful Christmas. Mindmovie
Hi Simon, Thank you for your kind words about my music. I am glad you stopped by because now I have found you. I will call you Simon the Maestro because your music portrays your talent as a conductor. No not the train conductor...hehe. I really like Solo Piano. Train is great too. They are all great. I would just call Moor The Moor. I think it is appropriate. Thank you for the holiday music too...Happy Holidays
Thank you Simon, for voting for me and appreciating my little compositions. I'll certainly vote for you. Bye for now and all the best of success, Richard
Hi Simon Thanks so much for stopping by and voting! You are a real "Kiwiphile" aren't you? Great photos. Funnily mine are all taken overseas too...Spain, Turkey, France... Cheers Helen
Hey, Simon my friend !!!! Why don't you enter your 1st song and one more song ? I think 1st song is the best of yours now!! Wish you get the success !!!!!
I have two songs in the latest competition. Synchronicity and East/West. Vote if you feel like it. First time so please be gentle with me? :))) Helen x
Hi Simon The passion in your music shines through, regardless of having not had formal training. Some great sounds and very evocative tracks...keep going...you have a definite talent. Big screen movies perhaps? Cheers Helen
Must admit, I did not think of the 3 piano pieces as being separate entities, more like 3 pieces that flow together. A kind of before, middle, and aftermath of a situation.
If I had to choose, I would say the first two are my faves. I fantasised about a vocal/choral/speech over those two, but that depends on the writer, and where he wants to go with it. 8—) As I said, they are beautiful as they are, too.
