Hi Flaming Bess and thanks for the invite. You have an interesting concept to build the fantasy story around your music. Good way to build the Flaming Bess brand with your fans. You have a tight sound and the acoustic guitar blends will with the percussion, synth and vocal layers. I like the way you build the intro on Waechter des lichts with the orchestral strings giving to the strong lead guitar, drums and synth pads picking up from the strings. Really atmospheric. The lead guitar solo is very nicely played. Reminds me of Dave Gilmour of Floyd! I also like Ute's vocal layers. Nice job.

You know, I was going to get all humorous & inventive and introduce Mi7 folk to my travelogue through "Waechter Des Lichts," but ultimately that would have been "all about me" ... and this should really be "all about you." As you know, Mr. M, I have been listening to your album in my favourite hang out. As I've mentioned, the track Waechter is a "Stotter!"—it really sets a great tone, But MAN, I luuuuuurves Der Dieb! From the intro military beat with those lush keyboard chords to the sax solo (I lOVE that solo—bring that man around for a glass of red, will ya?—nice!), then the intricate rhythmic programming passes off to Mr M on the banjo. F****in Great.

Have to say, even though I don't understand German, the voice actors are good, too. But why the book /story in German and the singing in English? You can only imagine the scenarios I've invented in my head from the actors speaking. Anyway, that's a minor complaint.

Now, Konig Fur Einen Tag (King for a Day?): I Luuuuuuurves that Teutonic husky quality of Jenny K's voice. She really makes it "her" song. She has one sexy voice: fragile, yet earthy ... can I get her for some work on "Finally ... 2" 8—)

Yeehah—FB Boys! I received Waechter Des Lichts: The CD, this morning and I’ve had it on headphones ever since. (It is evening, now.) It is a really good piece of work. I’m tempted to tell you my favourite tracks, but because it is dense (very involved), I know that other tracks will grow on me. Your cd will be a staple of my favourite place for the next month or so ... in the kitchen, preparing food, a glass of wine in hand with the headphones on! 8—) Thank you.
