Oooooo "Mother of Faith" .... very intriguing. I liked this song quite a bit for a number of reasons.

First off, it isn't a song to be pigeonholed into any one genre.

Second, there are a number of great influences from the 'feel' found in The Beatles' "Come Together" to the rawness of the vocals not unlike what we hear from Tom Waits.

Third, the arrangement draws the listener in and hooks the listener from the very beginning. The listener may not know where you are headed with this song at first but there's so much mystery in the arrangement that the listener is compelled to listen to the end.

In all, this is an excellent piece in my humble opinion.

Thanks for the nice comments; nice that someone can hear the differences rather than the similarities.

All the best

Nice. "Zero" has a really interesting blend of influences - an FLA-like bass, a guitar at 2 mins that could have been lifted from early Yello, and a dance-friendly beat throughout.
I think this is a very good candidate for you to add vocals to.
P.S. That guitar sample right at the intro is very, very familiar. :)

Je maakt mooie muziek.
Suggestie voor Zero: verhoog het tempo iets en je hebt een fantastisch nummer om op te jumpen!!! Good luck en veel succes!

Groet! Petra - Elegyn.

There is something dramatic in your songs (both in your voice and in the tunes) that I like. I wonder if the lyrics are equally dramatic?

Hello Peter - I must be the laziest person on the planet, because I'm listening through your Vurbeej track again, and it feels like I'm really hearing it for the first time! Maybe I didn't give it the full attention the first time - in which case I should be dragged outside and given a royal beating. :)
This track is so full of surprises and elegant touches, and truly rewards patience.
'Vadur' is almost the same - at first I didn't give it full attention, because the organs and strings don't work as well to me - but it was worth sticking to (yes, for the full 11 minutes ...)
Very emotional tracks, and very personal sounds. Thanks for sharing.

Just listening to Vadur - again your voice is a real killer Oxxo - it sounds very unique. I like the idea of the song altough I do almost understand nothing - my father died when he was 66 years old - he played saxophone and was always an inspiration to me - so I like what you did for your father here - compliments

Hi Oxxo, Yeah still alive, and ok, working too hard in the day job though. I listened to your song (people metioned more but I could only find one), great, looking forward to more.

Hi Oxxo! Great track here (Vurbeej)... this kind of "dark" tracks are always very difficult to do (at least for me), but you did a great work in making it interesting from beginning to end, thanks to the astonishing vocals and the progression until the ending climax. Also, I have just noticed the funny similarity between Dutch (at least I suppose it is Dutch?) and the dialect which is spoken in Italy in the Genova area (a bit far from where I am though). There was a famous Italian singer from Genova who wrote a song very different from yours of course, but whose vocals maintained very similar sounds ( I am talking about the language rather than the notes). Great work indeed!

Hi I have also uploaded a song on Realworld. As I am looking for a singer for "The Caves OF .... I have taken the Shock The Monkey sample pack and made a version with "THe Caves...". This is the style how I think the song could be sung !

Listened to your track on Realworld without taking any drinks or drugs. A nice funky tune ! Good work but I much more prefer your own stuff over the remix. Your vocals on Vurbeej are outstanding - that's what I had in mind when I asked you - so - yes - still an offer for ya if ya want !
