Wail, yor cetainly coverin a lot a territory here there, Detani, ol pal. And guess what? No really, guess. OK, I'll tell ya. . .I thank that's swell. I knew'd you had more tricks up yor sleeve. So don't expect me ta ever play poker with ya. Or will I?
Hey Mr Detani, Leigh Bowery, theres a name I have not heard for a long long time, thanks for bringing back some very odd memories!! Interesting all round, quite different from what I was expecting--actually no idea what to expect from you but you know what I mean. Enjoyed them all, Nice to see you here.
The noise thing you mention is an interesting one although I cannot hear it on these tracks! Why I say interesting is that I do at times get grounding problems in my studio caused by fluorescent lights in the building. However if I switch all my keyboards on and off it goes away! I think there's a spook somewhere here trying to tell me something!!
Member since 8 months! Where did you hide all the time? :-) This is a real nice surprise and thanks for the pm! What a pity that you can upload only five songs maximum. This is your normal "weekly" output, isn´t it? ;-) The five songs here are overall very movielike and I would say very RT, sorry "Detani" style/sound. My favorates: Birds on Bamboo and Leigh Bowery´s dance. Nice ones. Hey, and one question I always wanted to ask: All your tracks seem to have a 2 or 3 second just noise/hum intro. Any special reason for it? Just curious.
Well now, this is a very pleasant surprise. Thanks for finding me and letting me know you have a home here. After your description of "birds on bamboo", I was a bit surprised to realize it's my favourite. Really love the track. And I admire the hell out of things like what you do in "leigh bowery" at 2:50 on - I don't _love_ it, but boyo do I respect it for being so unapologetic about being just the way you want it. Good to see you here.
All this are from projects for movies and tv spots? I was always intrigue by this kind of compositions and feel of music. "The emperors path" is the one i like the most!!! Hope all the best to you my friend! George
just finally got all the way through to Leigh Bowery's dance - great piece! (of course they are all very good, but that one spoke to me relatively the most - on this first time through) - thanks again!
