Thanks for your comments about my songs. I hope you forgive me if I don't go into details about your songs. But I generally think your music is good but you should do a pitch rise on probably all tunes and give your voice a challange. It sounds much better in the higher ranges.

Het is op zichzelf al heel plezierig dat jij en anderen mijn muziek hebben gehoord. Dit even los van het belang om te winnen in deze wat vreemd opgezette wedstrijd.

I tried a few times to add drums to my music, but I always had the feeling that the beat kills my melodies.
Perhaps if I would have a good percussionist it could work.

Hallo Annelies, hoe gaat het ermee? Ik ben begonnen met het luisteren naar de muziek van mijn Mi7 vrienden en met het stemmen voor de RWS wedstrijd. Het zou mij niet moeilijk vallen voor jullie te stemmen, want jullie maken goeie nummers. 'Don't Care' en 'This is not 'A Lovesong' zijn mijn favorieten. Maar je hebt geen nummers ingebracht, dus vervalt het stemmen.
Misschien wil je (nog eens) naar mijn songs luisteren en voor me stemmen. Dat zou ik erg op prijs stellen… bedankt!

Hi girls,
I enjoyed all your songs here, and they all have a lot of potential.
However, the production seems a bit flat to me.
A much better mixing and good use of some plug-ins (reverb, compression, EQ, etc...) would already make a great difference.
While listening to "This is not a lovesong", which I like very much by the way, I had the impression that the song needs to be transposed to a degree that is more natural for the main vocalist to sing. It seems a bit out of your natural range now. I suggest you try singing it 1 - or better - 2 tones higher if you can (and I think so, because the song now sounds too low for you), it would brighten up the song considerably.
All in all, great basic material, that needs more dynamics in space and volume.

- This is not a lovesong is my favourite. Nice melodies and I like the old fashioned DX7 alike FM Piano sound. I am less convinced about the drumming which sounds also a bit old fashioned drum computer usage. Would love to hear this with a bit more modern drumming - which could take the song to the next level. Anyhow nice works and my compliments
