Portable vocal and instrument recording booth - a
The good people at sE truly have some ingenious ideas - like this Reflexion Filter - which enables decent recording conditions anywhere, anytime by getting rid of unwanted reflections and the "sound" (read; unwanted sound) of you non-treated typical room. A true god-send! And more than 15.000 other users can`t be wrong... I`m looking forward to checking out the new baby brother, the sE Instrument reflextion Filter.

Need compact monitoring? Active system to complement M-00 and other smaller powered satellite speakers.
As the M00 small studio monitors deliberately doesn`t have a bass-port, they roll off quite steeply under 100 hz. Enter the S00 purpose built sub for these M00`s. I`m still amazed how this combination sounds very much like a full-range system, and not like your typical "sub/satellite" system with a big "hole" in the low mid which is very commen with these kind of setups.

Compact, portable and flexible. Active monitoring for a wide variety of applications.
Not many people know about NHT on this side of the Atlantic, but you`ll find a surprisingly large number of NHT studio monitors in many high.-end mastering and recording studios in the US. I like these small M00 because they are portable, rugged and powerful (75 watts) with a nice frequency response and good stereo imaging. Add the S00 sub, and you got a very nice "full-range" system indeed.

Cubase 4 has to be one of the best things Steinberg have ever done – it´s certainly the single most important updated they´ve done since SX and Nuendo was launched 5 years ago. Favourite features in Cubase 4 are too many to mention, but finally faithful SX users have been heard and Logic users are no longer the only ones with great on-board sounds and FX`s. (and I´m a Logic user too....) If you haven´t looked at the new Cubase 4 yet (regardless of what DAW you are using) then take a serious look at Cubase 4 on www.steinberg.de
