SLOWLY KISSING YOU GOODBYE
Revartie
POP ©2008. All the collabs aside, I have been working on new tracks for "Finally II ..." (HAH!). This is a rough mix; some of the lyrics need to be refined, but it is all I want to say: Goodbye to Ma. I've been in the States for twenty years, and I have been slowly kissing her goodbye for that period of time. These are our final days, together. Guitar: Laurence Whiteley.
BEAUTIFUL MONSTER (EXTENDED SINGLE MIX)

POP ©2008. OK, so technically this is a collaboration and should be on my "My Mi7 Collabs" page, BUT ... the old rough version is here (might be interesting to compare), AND, I'm running out of space @ Mi7. ANYWAY, this is a collaboration with the very talented and debonair MINDMOVIE. It is a Single: Original radio mix/extended single and 2 remixes by Mr M and his groovy DJ partner, CLAAS REIMER/CLAASVADER (http://community.mi7.com/profile/6063). Together, Claas & Mindmovie are the fab duo known as "WI: RE." Shall post more in time; just wanted to get the ball rolling. Big Hugs and good luck to any Mi7 artists creating masterpieces at this time. Later, Boys & Girls. RTQ: "Sterling Job, Mr M." Music: MINDMOVIE. Vocals: ARTIE Q (Claas, of course, performed the music for his own remix.) Art Design & Graphics: the wonderfully multi-talented LAURENCE WHITELEY.
THE MOMENT
Busternme3
POP ©2008. From the cd "Finally ..." Pondering the question of how can one "live in the moment" ... I always wanted to try and make the moment last longer, slow it all down, appreciate life as it rushed on by. But the only real solution I can come up with is "gratitude." Being grateful is as near to spiritiuality as this agnostic can get. Ps. there's a great scene in the truly wonderful movie, 'Naked' by Mike Leigh, where David Thewliss delivers what to my mind is "The Celluloid Monologue Of The 20th Century." Lambasting the terminally-mint-eating security guard with the fact that the moment does not really exist because it is always passing into the next, is not only hilarious, it's also tragic. See Blog, above.
I DON'T WANT TO BE IN LOVE
Z_artie_q_
GOTHIC POP TRANCE "... So, I said, Pretentious, MOI???" I have put this up and taken it down more times than I care to remember, but I look back on this "wannabe dance" period of my life with a fond, albeit misguided, longing. And want to stand back one more time and hear and see how it looks nestled among the "now" songs. "I don't want to be in love ...? You must surely be joking, RT, you don't really mean that, do you?" Well, at the time, I did. I surely did. Written in 2001 with Skyko DJ (LA). Must admit, it was a fun outing while it lasted.
BELIEF
Grainy
AMBIENT POP ©2008 Original cut from the cd "Finally ..." The phenomena of what folk "choose" to believe—faith, that is. Just because we really wish it to be so, does not necessarily make it so. And why do we need a belief? To distract ourselves, primarily; most folk do not do well, alone with themselves—Hah! Interesting that the "alternative-spiritual" crowd who "pooh-pooh" the traditional religions of the world, believing them to be a bunch of fairy tales would not entertain the thought that their own set of beliefs to be equally fanciful. I suppose the ultimate question the song begs is ... How can we be so sure?
