Alternate Soundings (al.so), Olivier Bolling will show the new Dynax² (Dynamic Sound Shaper) and the Modual 500 Series. As a French musician , mastering engineer and maintenance technician for world class recording and mixing facilities, Olivier Bolling perfectly knows the needs of recording and mixing engineers. His philosophy is:"doing what other manufacturers don't". The AL.SO Dynax² is more than an ordinary compressor, it is designed as a Dynamic Sound Shaper, a creative tool meant for the creative sound engineers. Conceived around very low distortion circuits, the Dynax² allows for a wide range of effects, starting with the smoothest and most transparent compression, and going to the harshest and most spectacular sound designs. Both "attack" and "release" knobs permit a graduated change of values to reshape the sound and create a new envelope. During this workshop, Olivier will explain his design and maybe show some new designs.
