Maybe the topic of this forum isn't so clear ;) This is a forum for everything and anything.

Well, because my tv broke down quite some time ago, I am going to listen to the radio broadcast of the football match The Netherlands - Slovenia via internet. Even the most crappy of matches, of which the dutch have played a lot the last couple of years, appear to be exciting this way. ;-) |

On that note, I was buying a cup of coffee this morning and was hoping to pay with exact change - but it turned out that I was a few cents short and had to break a bill.

My god, even the radio broadcast couldn't hide that the match was horrible. |

I completely see your point there. Coffee is way to expensive nowadays ;) On 10/17/2007 @ 10:34, colab said:

Naah - the point was more about trying to maintain the natural order of the universe by providing exact change. Or quite possibly the point was this: regular day-to-day activities can be mind-numbingly boring, and I was really looking to share some of that boredom with the rest of you. :) On 10/23/2007 @ 04:28, Emil Hansson said:

What happens? Well, forget about getting a new pope. Here's what really happens: you build a villa with a large park at Anzio, only to be able to live it for a few weeks in the spring because of _malaria_ of all things. And whoever can successfully trace that reference back to Longmansleep's exclamation is worthy of an award of some kind. The connection is there, though; just rather _tenuous_. Ask me, I blame the Stella Artois. |
